Avoriaz is a ski area in France, on slopes between roughly 1,224 and 1,224 m. Its mapped area is about 11 km across, with 195 marked runs and 40 lifts (about 82 km of piste in all).

Over the last twelve winters the ERA5 weather model gives it 253 cm of snowfall a season, 704th (tied) of 3,069 worldwide and 97th in France. It swings a lot from year to year: the biggest winter, 2017/18 (392 cm), brought more than twice as much as the leanest, 2024/25 (193 cm). January is usually the snowiest month, with about 74 cm.
