Inawashiro Snow Paradise is a ski area in Fukushima, Japan, on slopes between roughly 613 and 1,189 m. Its mapped area is about 2.8 km across, with 32 marked runs and 11 lifts (about 14 km of piste in all).
Over the last twelve winters the ERA5 weather model gives it 258 cm of snowfall a season, 180th of the 397 ski areas we measure in Japan. It swings a lot from year to year: the biggest winter, 2024/25 (343 cm), brought more than twice as much as the leanest, 2015/16 (139 cm). January is usually the snowiest month, with about 88 cm. Weather models read low in the mountains: a Japan Meteorological Agency station 3.7 km away measured 316 cm a winter over the last three seasons, against 268 cm from the model. Snowfall days average −4.1 °C at mid-mountain, and its snow-quality score ranks 152nd of 397 in Japan.
