Sälen is a ski area in Sweden, on slopes between roughly 833 and 833 m. Its mapped area is about 15 km across, with 130 marked runs and 96 lifts (about 80 km of piste in all).
Over the last twelve winters the ERA5 weather model gives it 137 cm of snowfall a season, 1,843rd (tied) of 3,069 worldwide and 23rd in Sweden. Its winters are fairly steady; even the leanest, 2016/17 (100 cm), reached 73% of the average. January is usually the snowiest month, with about 45 cm.
Elevation range is estimated by sampling points across the ski area.
