Vars/Risoul is a ski area in France, on slopes between roughly 2,355 and 2,355 m. Its mapped area is about 12 km across, with 193 marked runs and 38 lifts (about 131 km of piste in all).

Over the last twelve winters the ERA5 weather model gives it 216 cm of snowfall a season, 988th (tied) of 3,069 worldwide and 127th in France. It swings a lot from year to year: the biggest winter, 2017/18 (406 cm), brought more than 3 times as much as the leanest, 2021/22 (106 cm). December brings as much snow as January here (58 and 53 cm on average).
